When you heard that it was compliment day this morning, you probably thought of our care givers spontaneously. They deserve a lot of compliments for their efforts during the corona crisis. However, this crisis does not only threaten our physical well-being. Our financial health was also threatened in the pas year.
Nevertheless, our contractors and customers showed their best side. The judicial officer also continued to assist all those involved with advice and assistance. They certainly deserve a compliment in these times too.
Debtors making the most out of it
Many existing debtors contacted us proactively about their ongoing payment plan. Sometimes their installments were no longer realistic because of the decline in their earnings. Our employees looked at it, situation per situation and made adjustments where necessary. After six months, the revisions were re-evaluated. Even today, here are still payment plans that are critically reviewed and adjusted, because the corona crisis still has a heavy financial impact on many sectors.
In addition, we should also not forget that the compassion and helpfulness of our fellow human beings continues to amaze us time and time again. You too probably saw a benefit campaign passing by on social media or perhaps you bought something to give our entrepreneurs a boost. Everyone wants to get through this crisis together!
Creditors are proactively looking for solutions.
At the start of the corona crisis in March 2020, we did noy yet know what the immense impact would be. Soon, many people unexpectedly began to accumulate debt. Creditors showed a great deal of understanding for this and spontaneously put countless debt claim procedures on hold. This gave their customers the time to review their finances and make adjustments where possible. More breathing space was created to seek help, avoiding many financial tragedies.
Yet this promotion was not self-evident for many clients. After all, they also count on their income and the longer it is delayed, the greater the chance that they will also end up in financial difficulties themselves. Yet, they showed great solidarity and all kinds of actions were taken to find feasible solutions.
Judicial officers, employees and partners are always ready
Our Belgian judicial officers are now closely monitoring the corona measures and are continuously adapting their services. Thanks to the support of many motivated employees, locksmiths and police officers, they find payment solutions for all parties involved every day.
At Modero, the existing group feeling strengthens through the lockdowns. Everyone is flexible when it comes to telecommuting, the expansion of late shifts and the crewing of our call center. The need for financial guidance and adapted payment solutions remains much needed. We do our bit everyday by looking for realistic payment solutions and providing helplines as much as possible.
