If you have received a payment reminder letter or notice by service from us, this means that you have lost track of an unpaid invoice or other debt and that your creditor has asked us to intervene. First of all, please read this letter attentively. Is there still something that is unclear to you? Would you like to know what happens if you do not respond? Here you can find the answer to your questions.

WHAT DO I DO?

The most important thing is to respond. Your debt will only go away if you do something about it. This does not necessarily mean that it only goes away if you have paid for everything. If you think a mistake has been made and if you would like to rectify it, once and for all, consult the section I refuse to pay, because … to find out how best to handle this.

Contact us at any rate, if your question remains unanswered. That way, we can answer your question or find an appropriate solution together.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I DO NOT DO ANYTHING?

If you do not respond to our payment reminder letter, your creditor can instruct us to initiate legal proceedings. You will then be summoned to appear before the court to get a judgment in your case.  Or your creditor can ask us to serve you with an enforcement order. This may entail many additional costs for the party who is found to be in the wrong. We would, in fact, prefer to avoid such proceedings and find an amicable solution together with you and your creditor. However, the ball is in your court.

CAN I GET A COPY OF THE INVOICES?

Maybe you did not keep a copy of the invoice(s) for which we are contacting you. Would you like to get a copy first, to check everything or store them for future reference?

Thanks to your digital case file , you can consult the invoices and other documents we have received from your creditor. You can log in, by entering the data mentioned in our letter in the section “MY FILE”, via the top right side of your screen.

Are you unable to find the invoices via your digital case file? Contact us and we will be happy to provide you with a copy.
Provided your creditor authorises us to do so.

DO I HAVE OTHER DEBTS AS WELL?

If you have any other debts, please inform us. We are only aware of any debts our agency has been asked to recover. You can consult all case files our agency has on you via our online case file consultation tool.
