I have several files with Modero. Can I combine them into one arrangement?
In some cases, this is possible, but of course it depends on your file, the creditors involved and your financial situation. Therefore, take contact Modero, so that an employee can provide you with clear information and work with you to find a feasible arrangement over your files.
For example, when can files be combined?
- Files from the same creditor: for example, multiple invoices at the same hospital can be merged into one file with one repayment plan so that you do not have multiple arrangements running side by side.
- Files from different creditors if there is already a judgment or a writ of execution: when your files are in the execution phase (for example after a judgment), a repayment arrangement is always agreed within the oldest file. Once that has been paid off, the scheme can possibly be transferred to the next file.
Mediation service
If you have multiple files with different creditors or if there are underlying issues, you can be referred to our internal mediation service. It looks at whether a combined arrangement is feasible. This is Modero's standard approach for files where there are multiple outstanding debts with the same creditor. We call this approach “unity of file”, one of the building blocks of our work.
For self-employed workers, it is examined per file whether intervention is possible.
Companies cannot use this service for the time being, but Modero is not leaving them out to dry. We help entrepreneurs in difficulty by directing them to specialized aid agencies such as Dyzo.
Tip: contact Modero. An employee reviews your situation and discusses whether your files can be merged.
