Can I use Modero to format a protest act?

Yes. When a trade order, order letter or check is fruitlessly presented for payment or acceptance, Modero can draw up a protest act. Within three business days, we will also send a message of protest to the Central File of Messages (CBB).

The message will be kept until the debt has been paid in full or otherwise extinguished. As soon as that happens, we will ensure that the message is deleted within three business days.

Because messages of protest can be consulted electronically and affect the person concerned's creditworthiness, a protest act is often an important means of enforcing timely payment.
