After 25 years of growth and innovation, bailiff's office Modero is restructuring its organizational structure. Founder Jan De Meuter will focus on strategy, innovation, and internationalization, taking on the role of Executive Director. Paul Van Tigchelt starts today as CEO of Modero. He will be responsible for operational management and the further consolidation of the office network.
Over 25 years, under the leadership of Jan De Meuter, Modero evolved from a local bailiff's office into a substantial network of offices across all Belgian provinces and in the Netherlands. Today, the Modero network comprises no fewer than 80 bailiffs and candidate bailiffs. Its services and products have also grown rapidly in recent years, including the solvency check Solid-score©, the financial health app Kiwi©, and Memo©, the application that translates and summarizes legal jargon into simple language.
Modero aims to further expand its services in the coming years, focusing on resolving and even preventing payment disputes. This requires further consolidation of the network through more integrated collaboration, while respecting the local embedding, independence, and unique character of each office. To achieve this ambition, a clear and strengthened organizational structure is imperative.
Thanks to his extensive experience in the legal world, Paul Van Tigchelt is familiar with the complex sector of bailiff's offices. With his background as former director of OCAD and Minister of Justice, he is the ideal person to take on and strengthen the operational aspect of the network. The new CEO of the Modero network will be supported in this role by an executive committee consisting of Britt De Backer (Group HR & Culture Officer), Joris Van der Linden (Group Chief Financial Officer), Maryline Langer (Group Field Lead Officer Wallonia), Dieter Dias (Group Field Lead Officer Flanders), Ronald Vanswijgenhoven (Group Field Lead Officer Brussels), Inge Draguet (Group Ethics & Human Impact Officer), Frédéric Lamonte (Group Chief Operating Officer), Christophe De Block (Group Client Officer), Ellen van Dijk (Group Public Affairs Officer), Bart Van de Venster (Group Chief Legal Officer), Martine Smout (Group International Officer) and Jeremy Wiermans (Group Product, IT, Data & AI Officer).
Modero founder Jan De Meuter will continue to focus, as Executive Director, on strategy, the development and rollout of services and products, and the further internationalization of the network.
