Posting

A poster is an official document that a bailiff hands over to the person whose property has been seized for judicial purposes public sale. This document is also displayed at the location where the sale will take place, such as the sales hall. It serves to publicize the sale of the seized goods. The posting is the very last warning before a public (judicial) sale.
