Executive attachment

A type of seizure that is made for the purpose of selling the seized goods. If the debt is not repaid, the seized goods can be sold by public or amicable sale (article 1526bis Ger.W.), and the proceeds from the sale are used to pay off debts. In addition to executive, there is protective attachment, which is used to prevent you from selling or giving away certain goods until a final decision is made. You can still use the goods, but they remain legally supervised.
