Attention: New scam attempt on behalf of Modero

Recently, a new scam attempt in Modero's name came to light. This is a fake e-mail with a fictitious reminder to pay the waste tax and sewer tax. It is best to delete the email and do not respond to it. Also, do not respond to the request to pay.

These are therefore criminal offences, namely attempted fraud and name presumption. If you become a victim of such facts, we recommend that you file a complaint with the police. This can be done at the nearest police station or at the fraud hotline.

At Modero, we never work this way. The office of Bailiff, which is subject to a very strict deontology, does not allow this either. If you have debts that are collected by Modero, we ensure clear and respectful communication. You are also entitled to a written proof of the debt.
