A grosse is an official copy of a court decision or a notarial deed, provided with the enforcement form. These formal terms confirm their full legal force and enforceability. Without a grosse, a bailiff cannot make the court decision signify or execute. This document is therefore essential in the enforcement of court decisions, such as sequestration or enforcing a requisition.
